Every country has its own quirks so when traveling, tipping in restaurants can be awkward. Did I tip too little or too much?

Tip like a local means putting your mind at rest while paying a fair tip to your waiter. Not too much, not too little.

IN TWO STEPS:

1.Enter the bill amount
2.Rate the service quality (poor, good, excellent)

We calculate the tip for you, depending on the selected country (settings).

Some more useful features:

HOME SCREEN:
-In some countries a service fee (gratuity) is already included in the bill. Enter it to not overtip.

-Split the total when youre in a group. Probably not so useful for dates ;)

-Currency converter: Hint, you can also use the app for other currency conversions (we update it every two weeks as usually that is good enough).

INFORMATION:
-Get useful information about the country you’re in (like how the gratuity is called in this country to check the bill etc.).

SETTINGS:
-Country: Choose the country you’re in and we automatically calculate the tip rate based on the country you’re in. Tip rates differ around the world, so we have compiled a database of more than 70 countries (more coming soon).

-Home currency: Once selected you will see how much the bill is in your own currency.

-Tipping strategies: Some pay more tips other pay less tips. Just let us know what tipping strategy fits you best (stingy, normal or generous).
